Mr. Nishi has won the national competition several times and even the Tennô prize for his Sencha. Not to be confused with his namesake Mr. Nishi (also from Kirishima), who is very present on the foreign market. We are the first and only retailer outside of Japan to source teas from Mr. Nishi.
Buttery smooth with a very strong umami and a fruity sweetness rounded off with a light green aroma. Like the Yabukita Sencha from Mr. Nishi, this year's Saeakari is an absolute standout this year.
