A beautiful, handmade Shiboridashi by master Hozan from Shigaraki (Shiga Prefecture). Master Hozan is a second generation potter and runs his studio together with his son. This Shiboridashi was made specially for us and is available exclusively from us.
Typically for Shigaraki the Shiboridashi has more slits than a normal one and therefore even fine teas such as Fukamushi (deep steamed) can be brewed without any problems.
Each piece is individually made and differs slightly from the Shiboridashi shown above.

A beautiful handmade yuzamashi by Mr. Hozan from Shigaraki (Shiga Prefecture). Yuzamashis are essential for a good tea experience. With this tool, you can cool down and control the temperature of the water and then fill the tea into the Yuzamashi to pour the tea evenly in the tea cups.
