Dear customers,
we will be in Japan from 11/5/2026 - 12/5/2026 and all orders received after 11/2 will unfortunately not be able to be processed until 12/6.
However, it is still possible to place orders through the store and they will be shipped chronologically upon our return.
We ask for your understanding and are still available by email for any queries.
A beautiful, handmade Shiboridashi by master Hozan from Shigaraki (Shiga Prefecture). Master Hozan is a second generation potter and runs his studio together with his son. This Shiboridashi was made specially for us and is available exclusively from us.
Typically for Shigaraki the Shiboridashi has more slits than a normal one and therefore even fine teas such as Fukamushi (deep steamed) can be brewed without any problems.
Each piece is individually made and differs slightly from the Shiboridashi shown above.
