We helped at this year's harvest at Mr. Fukui's farm, here are some impressions:
Mr. Fukui cultivates his teas in a traditional way and processes his Tencha in the oldest Tencha factory in Japan (from 1925, shown on the pictures).
Mr. Fukui's highest quality matcha: The two cultivars Saemidori and Asahi create a perfect balance between umami and sweetness, accompanied by slightly fruity notes and an incredibly creamy texture. A traditionally produced Uji Matcha of the highest quality.
This Matcha is suitable for both Koicha and Usucha.
