Usually Gyokuro is stored until October, but we have decided to sell this Gyokuro from Mr. Tanaka earlier, because even at this stage this tea is already extremely balanced and aromatic: a pleasant final heat, strong umami and fruity sweetness, which is completed with a lovely shincha freshness. This tea will change significantly in the coming months and we offer the unique opportunity to taste a Gyokuro unaged.
