Mr. Nishi has won the national competition several times and even the Tennô prize for his Sencha. Not to be confused with his namesake Mr. Nishi (also from Kirishima), who is very present on the foreign market. We are the first and only retailer outside of Japan to source teas from Mr. Nishi.
This Yabukita Sencha is wonderfully buttery-soft, has a strong umami and a great sweetness - slightly nutty notes round off this Sencha perfectly and give it a long lasting sweet aftertaste.
The successor to the popular Miyazono Sencha "Saemidori."
